The principal Solicitor of ANM Lawyers, Mr Tony Maw, has extensive legal experience gained both in South Africa and Australia.  Tony was admitted as a Solicitor in both the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 1991 and shortly thereafter commenced employment as a Solicitor with a well-known mid-sized Sydney City law firm.  Tony remained with this same firm until 1999 when he founded ANM Lawyers (which was previously known as Masu Lawyers).

Tony can assist by reviewing contracts for the purchase of either units or houses, arrange for strata reports and/or building and pest reports, assist with reviewing and signing loan and mortgage documents, processing applications for the First Home Buyer benefits and ensuring that all matters are completed as scheduled.  Further, Tony can also assist with preparing contracts for the sales of property.

Tony also provides advice in the purchase of units “off the plan”, the use of deposit bonds as a means to facilitate exchange of Contracts and the refinancing of existing properties to fund these purchases.  

In addition to advice in respect of property transactions, Tony offers comprehensive advice in relation to Estate Planning and Wills to ensure that each client has in place a valid Will together with a valid Enduring Power of Attorney and a valid Enduring Appointment of Guardian. Tony can also assist with deceased estates, obtaining Grants of Probate and acting in the administration of estates.
